Account Deletion and Personal Data Management
1. Your Right to Account Deletion
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the loi Informatique et Libertés, you have a right to the erasure of your personal data. Stamp Marketplace is committed to respecting this right and to processing your request as promptly as possible.
2. How to Request the Deletion of Your Account
By email
Send your request to: contact@stamp-marketplace.com
Subject: "Account deletion request"
Information to include in your email:
- The email address associated with your account
- Your first and last name
- An explicit confirmation of your wish to delete your account
For security reasons, your request must be sent from the email address associated with your Stamp Marketplace account.
Processing times
- Acknowledgement of receipt: within 48 business hours
- Processing of the request: within 72 business hours
- Effective deletion of the data: within a maximum of 30 days
You will receive a confirmation by email at each step of the process.
3. Data Deleted
The deletion of your account results in the permanent and irreversible erasure of the following data:
- Identification data: last name, first name, email address, phone number
- Profile data: profile photo, account preferences, notification settings
- Usage data: browsing history, searches performed, products viewed
- Personalization data: favorites, price alerts, wish lists
- Communication data: history of messages exchanged with support or with other users
4. Data Retained for Legal Obligations
In accordance with French and European legislation, certain data is retained even after the deletion of your account. This retention is strictly limited to legal obligations and is not subject to any commercial use.

This data is stored securely, encrypted, and accessible only in the event of a judicial requisition or a tax audit.
5. Consequences of Deletion
Before confirming your request, please take note of the irreversible consequences:
- Loss of access: you will no longer be able to log in to your account or access the application with your current credentials
- History erased: your purchase and sales history will no longer be viewable from your personal account area
- Favorites lost: your favorite products and alerts will be permanently deleted
- Communications deleted: your exchanges with support and with other users will be erased
- Reviews retained: the reviews you have left may be retained in anonymized form
Creating a new account with the same email address will be possible after deletion, but no data can be recovered.
6. Special Cases
Ongoing transactions
If you have ongoing transactions (an unfinalized purchase or sale), your deletion request will be placed on hold until those transactions are closed. You will be informed of this by email.
Ongoing dispute or claim
In the event of an unresolved dispute, your data necessary for handling the case will be retained until final resolution, in accordance with our legal obligations.
Unused balance or credit
If your account shows a positive balance or a credit, we will contact you to process the refund before final deletion.
7. Security and Confidentiality
Stamp Marketplace implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your data:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Restricted access to personal data (principle of least privilege)
- Logging of access to sensitive data
- Secure deletion procedures (permanent, non-recoverable erasure)
